What is Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is a growth hormone–releasing hormone (GHRH) analog that stimulates your body's natural growth hormone production — it does not replace hormones directly. It is used to support recovery, metabolism, and overall vitality.

Sermorelin is available exclusively as a subcutaneous injection, administered into the fatty tissue just beneath the skin using a thin, small needle that is generally well-tolerated.

How is Sermorelin Different from Growth Hormone?

  • Sermorelin stimulates your body to produce its own growth hormone naturally

  • Synthetic growth hormone replaces the hormone directly

Because Sermorelin works within your body's regulatory systems, effects are typically more gradual and physiologic.

How Long Until I Notice Changes?

Experiences vary. Some individuals notice subtle changes — often in sleep or recovery — within the first few weeks, with gradual improvements continuing over several months.

Can I Use Sermorelin with Other Maximus Protocols?

Possibly. Sermorelin may be used alongside:

  • Testosterone Optimization

  • Weight Loss

  • Hair Improvement

  • Blood Flow Support

Your clinician will confirm whether combination use is appropriate for you.

Does Sermorelin Help with Weight Loss or Muscle Gain?

Sermorelin is not a weight-loss medication or muscle-building drug. However, supporting natural growth hormone production may positively influence recovery, stamina, and metabolic balance — which can contribute to body composition changes over time when combined with healthy habits.

Do I Need Labs Before Starting?

Your clinician will determine whether labs are required based on your symptoms, medical history, and treatment goals. Some individuals may not need additional labs; others may.

What Side Effects Should I Know About?

Most individuals tolerate Sermorelin well. Possible mild effects include headache, flushing, temporary fatigue, digestive changes, and injection-site sensitivity.

  • Persistent or concerning symptoms: Message your clinician

  • Rare or severe symptoms (e.g., difficulty breathing, signs of infection): Seek urgent care immediately

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

Message your clinician for guidance. Do not adjust your schedule without clinical direction.

How Should I Store Sermorelin?

Sermorelin is temperature-sensitive. Follow the storage instructions included with your prescription.

Optimal storage: Refrigerate at 36°F–46°F (2°C–8°C). Do not freeze.

If refrigeration is unavailable, Sermorelin remains stable at:

Temperature

Stable For

Up to 77°F / 25°C (room temp)

Up to 30 days

Up to 95°F / 35°C

Up to 15 days

Up to 104°F / 40°C

Up to 5 days

If you suspect your medication has been exposed to temperatures beyond these limits — including freezing during winter shipping — contact your clinician or pharmacist before use.

Can I Travel with Sermorelin?

Yes. If refrigeration or timing adjustments are needed, message your clinician before traveling. When refrigeration is unavailable, store in a cool, dark, dry place within the stability limits above.

Prescribing availability depends on your physical location.
