According to researchers, “In older men, enclomiphene could be used as monotherapy, particularly if the risks of [Testosterone Replacement Therapy] are deemed too high for specific patients.”

They are fundamentally different approaches—even if fertility is not a concern, most older men prefer not to experience the testicular shrinkage associated with TRT or the discontinuation syndrome if they stop taking it, even temporarily.

With enclomiphene there is no dependence since it stimulates your own natural testosterone production, so you will not feel down if you miss a day or need to take a break/travel.
