Is the estradiol in the bloodstream able to act on estrogen receptors though if enclomiphene is occupying them? Or does enclomiphene only block some receptors since it is a “selective” modulator?

Per the name, it is a selective modulator. Thus, estradiol is still free to act on some receptors. It does not shut down estradiol like an aromatase inhibitor.
