Anastrozole — What It Is and How to Add It

Updated today

Anastrozole is available through Maximus as part of specific treatment plans. It is prescribed when clinically necessary — most commonly to manage elevated estradiol levels during enclomiphene therapy. It is not available as a standalone purchase.

Typical dosing: 0.5mg (half a tablet) twice per week, ideally Monday and Friday. Always follow your clinician's instructions.

Cost: $49.99/month added to your existing plan

To add Anastrozole to your plan:

  1. Contact Maximus support to submit a request to the clinical team

  2. The clinical team reviews your latest labs

  3. Once approved, it's added to your subscription

Refills: Require completion of any lab work requested by your clinician. Prescriptions are typically for a 90-day supply.

If your Anastrozole isn't shipping: Confirm it has been officially added to your subscription — prescriptions don't fulfill until the subscription update is complete.

To discuss whether Anastrozole is appropriate for you, message your clinician through your Maximus portal.
