Overview
Maximus also offers automatic shipments for core medications based on your subscription settings, ensuring a seamless experience for customers who keep their settings up-to-date.
Once your clinician approves a prescription, it is sent electronically to a partner pharmacy for fulfillment. Pharmacy fulfillment typically takes 3–5 business days from the date the prescription is received.
In cases where additional actions are required, such as completing an intake questionnaire or consultation, customers will be notified to ensure timely processing.
The pharmacy prepares your medication and ships it directly to your verified address. You will receive an email with tracking details to monitor the delivery status.
Pharmacy Fulfillment Process
Required Customer Actions
Some orders require specific actions to proceed:
Completing the Intake Questionnaire:
The intake questionnaire is essential for triggering prescription refills. Without it, your clinician cannot issue the next prescription, potentially delaying shipments.
Once completed, the questionnaire is sent to a clinician for review. If treatment is approved, a prescription is issued and sent to the pharmacy. Fulfillment and shipping typically take 3–5 business days.
Lab Tests and Consultations:
For certain treatments, you may need to complete lab tests and a video consultation. After your doctor reviews the lab results, your order will proceed.
At-Home Test Kits:
After confirming payment, the test kit will be shipped to your address within 2–7 business days. Complete the test in the morning and return it between Monday and Thursday for prompt processing.
After your prescription is approved:
The prescription is transmitted to a partner pharmacy
The pharmacy prepares your medication
The order is packaged and prepared for shipping
The pharmacy fulfillment process typically takes 3–5 business days.
Some medications require compounding or specialized preparation, which may affect processing time. Specialized preparations may take 3–7 business days to complete.

Potential Delays

If your order experiences a delay, updates will appear in your portal. Maximus actively monitors your case and communicates updates via the Maximus Dashboard. In cases of significant delays, compensation such as credits or discounts may be offered.
Additionally, delays may occur if customers fail to complete required actions such as the intake questionnaire or lab tests. Ensure all necessary steps are completed to avoid disruptions.
After your order ships, tracking and delivery details are covered in [Shipping & Tracking]. If your shipment is delayed, missing, or damaged, see [Delivery Issues].
