Our lab tests for Total T, SHBG and LH. The main thing the doctor will look at is your LH level to determine if you have primary or secondary hypogonadism. LH stimulates the testes to produce testosterone. Our medication stimulates the pituitary to produce its own LH, so the question is whether your pituitary is still functional and can produce its own LH. That said, we have had patients with high LH levels still respond well on Enclomiphene, it's often a matter of trying the medication to see if it will work for you.
