This article covers the operational side of Building Blocks β how supplements are ordered, shipped, stored, and refilled. For information on what they're for and what to expect on treatment, see Building Blocks: Patient Guide.
Prescription requirement
Building Blocks supplements require a physician's prescription and are often included as part of specific protocols (for example, the Oral TRT subscription bundle and the Quarterly Enclomiphene plan).
If the associated protocol is canceled or your intake questionnaire is incomplete, shipments of Building Blocks will stop.
How Building Blocks are shipped
Once ordered, Building Blocks are shipped from a licensed pharmacy fulfillment partner. You can expect a confirmation when your order is processed, a tracking link once the package ships, standard delivery through major carriers (USPS, UPS, FedEx), and discreet packaging.
Shipping timelines typically range from 3β5 business days but may vary based on carrier, location, and volume.
If your package arrives damaged or tracking stalls, support can coordinate with the fulfillment partner to resolve the issue.
What's included in each order
Each product includes a labeled bottle or container, ingredients and nutrition facts, suggested use on the product packaging, and storage instructions.
If you need more detail about a specific product, support can provide it.
How to use Building Blocks
Follow the directions provided on the product label. The instructions are designed to be simple and adaptable to a normal daily routine.
You can ask your clinician about high-level questions like general timing (morning, evening, with meals), how supplements fit with your protocol, or whether adjustments are appropriate based on your goals.
Clinicians cannot provide dosing instructions beyond what the product labeling states.
Refills and reordering
You can reorder Building Blocks directly through your patient portal. Refill timing depends on your usage and product type.
If you need help updating your address, confirming availability, or checking delivery status, contact support.
Storage and handling
Follow the storage instructions on each product. In general:
Keep supplements in a cool, dry place
Avoid exposing them to excessive heat or moisture
Keep containers firmly sealed
Keep out of reach of children
If a product arrives damaged or compromised, take photos of the relevant items and contact support to arrange a replacement.
Travel considerations
Building Blocks are generally easy to travel with. Standard practices apply: store in a cool, dry place, keep lids sealed tightly, avoid extended heat exposure (like leaving in a hot car).
If you're traveling internationally, check local import restrictions for supplements.
Support vs. clinician
Support can help with shipping issues, tracking, damaged packages, address updates, refill timing and availability, and product-specific logistics.
Your clinician can help with compatibility and routine timing, how Building Blocks fit into your overall health plan, and questions about combining with other protocols.
For clinical requests, use the Messages section of your Maximus Dashboard.
For urgent or severe symptoms, seek emergency medical care and refer to the When to seek immediate care section in the Patient Guide.
