How compounded plans work
Flat rate across all doses. Your monthly rate stays the same regardless of your prescribed dose — no repricing when you titrate up.
Multi-month plans ship every 2 months. On 4, 6, and 12-month plans, you receive a 2-month supply at a time. This means fewer shipments and a lower per-month cost compared to the 1-month plan.
First-order discount (FOD) scales with plan length. Longer commitments come with deeper first-cycle discounts. The savings are applied automatically on your first order.
California semaglutide surcharge. A $50/shipment surcharge applies to compounded semaglutide orders shipping to California addresses. This appears as a separate line item at checkout. There is no surcharge on tirzepatide at this time.

Common questions
What's the FOD? The first-order discount (FOD) is a reduced price on your first cycle only. Starting with your second cycle, the standard ongoing rate applies. The FOD is larger on longer-commitment plans.
Why does my multi-month plan ship every 2 months? Multi-month plans are fulfilled in 2-month batches. You're not billed monthly — you pay upfront for the full plan term. The 2-month shipment cadence is how we keep the per-month cost lower while maintaining supply reliability.
Will my dosage change my monthly rate? No. The rate is flat across all doses — your cost doesn't change when you titrate up or down.
I'm an existing client — does this pricing affect me? No. Existing clients stay on their current plans. The new pricing and plan tiers apply to new enrollments only. To view your current rate, log in and visit Manage Account in your dashboard.
Can I switch from a compounded plan to a name-brand plan? Yes, with a plan adjustment. Message us through the app and our team will walk through the options based on where you are in your current plan. See Name-Brand GLP-1 Medications at Maximus for more details.
What about HSA/FSA reimbursement? The Maximus subscription fee is generally HSA/FSA-eligible. To request a receipt or invoice, see How can I request and receive invoices or receipts for my Maximus charges?
