How Dosages and Subscription Plans Work

How your prescribed dosage relates to your subscription plan, when dose changes take effect, and what happens if you restart or switch plans.

How is my dosage determined?

Your dosage is based on your medical history and clinical factors, and is set by your licensed healthcare provider. It is not self-selected or automatically assigned.

Additionally, your subscription plan type (quarterly or monthly) can influence dosage determination. For instance, monthly plans may allow for more frequent dosage adjustments, such as titration, compared to quarterly plans.

When do dosage changes take effect?

Any dosage update takes effect with your next refill. For monthly plans, medications are shipped monthly due to temperature sensitivity and short best-use periods, ensuring effectiveness upon arrival. Your current shipment will reflect the prescription that was active at the time it was processed, while future shipments will reflect the updated dosage.

What happens to my dosage if I restart my subscription?

Restarting a subscription does not automatically restore your previous dosage. Your provider will review your history and determine the appropriate dosage for your next order.

How does switching subscription plans affect my dosage?

Each subscription plan is associated with a specific dosage. If you switch plans, your shipments will reflect the dosage tied to your new active plan. If you return to a previous plan, your shipments will revert to the dosage associated with that plan.

For example, switching from a quarterly supply to a monthly titration plan allows for more frequent dosage adjustments, as monthly plans are designed for users requiring regular changes.

Concerns About Vial Appearance

If your vial looks partially full, it may still contain the correct total dosage as prescribed. This is common for microdosing plans or specific regimens. Consult your doctor if you have concerns.

Shipment Policies and Temperature Sensitivity

Medications are shipped on a monthly basis, even for quarterly plans, due to their temperature sensitivity and short best-use period. This ensures the medication remains effective upon arrival.
